What is the admission process?
The process is not to difficult, but pur staff will be helping through the following process:
   1. We must have a preadmission process tour, selection of apartment and Deposit Physicians Report Completed and Reviewed, TB Test, Perspective Residents Evaluation completed the Director of sales.
   2. Admission Process is:
      (A) Admission Agreement, Rules and Regulations of OBV
      (B) Identification and Emergency Info.,
      (C) Physicians Report Review by Administrator, Ambulatory Status, TB Test Results,
      (D)Medical Consent, POLST Form,
      (E) Residents Appraisal,
      (F) Cash Record,
      (G) Property Record,
      (H)Personal Rights,
      (I) Medical Record,
      (J) Medical Information,
      (K) Physical Furniture move in,
      (L) Mail-Box assignment and Dining Room Assignment,
      (M)Staff Introduction and Escort for the first two weeks,
      (N) Activities evaluation,

Can I bring my pet?
Yes, there are breed and size restrictions. Perspective residents’ ability to care and maintain the pet.

Does MediCal/Medicare/SSI pays for rent and fees at Orange Blossom Villa?
No, Private pay only with the exception there are veteran’s benefits that may pay for part of the Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s).

Can I bring my furniture?
Yes. we encourage personal belongings however we can furnish some of the basic needs based on availability.

Yes, Nails size restrictions.

Can I have/use my car while as resident at Orange Blossom Villa?
Yes, please be sure to sign in and out of the facility and place a OBV parking sticker on your vehicle for security purposes.

Can I receive visitors?
Yes, all visitors are required to sign in and out of the facility. Visiting hours are 8:30 am-8 pm.

Can I leave the facility at any time?
Yes, please sign in and out. Facility doors close at 8 pm but special accommodations may be available upon request.

Can I have parties in the facility?
Yes, the conference room and courtyard are available all year around with reservation date required and subject to availability.

How soon can I move in?
As soon as Pre-admission process is completed IE, Physicians Report, Tour, Perspective Residents evaluation, and subject to room availability.

Can I "hold" the room?
Yes, 3 days without a deposit and a maximum of 30 days with a nonrefundable $1200.00 deposit.

How about my privacy?
Privacy is strongly respected and important part of the Residents care. Covered by the Personal Rights of Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly include the right to privacy of person and personal belongings

Would I get mail daily?
Mail is received in Residents assigned P.O. Box based on U.S. Postal Service delivery schedule.

Do I have to get up early to have breakfast?
No, Breakfast is served till 9:30 am.

Yes, subject to Dietary Department approval.

Yes, please call facility 2 hrs. prior to meal there is a charge for your friend/guess.

Housekeeping is available once a week.

Residents will have a assigned laundry day and will be completed the next day.

Yes, a washer and dryer are available in the facility.  The laundry room key is available at the front desk.
